Who's dream are you investing into?

When you worry about taking time off or leaving a job to travel think about this:

How many hours have you invested into someone else’s dream? How many hours have you spent working for someone else and to what extent? Are you a real person to them or just a number? If you left tomorrow how soon would you be replaced? 1 day = 8-12 hours depending on which profession you are in, sometimes more. On average you get 28 days leave a year (less in the USA) that means you are working (365-28- 233) *8/12 for someone else. You are spending up to 2796 hours a year fuelling someone else’s dream. And thats before overtime!

You are not living you are surviving.

So many ladies like yourself do not follow their dreams because they feel a sense of responsibility. Responsibility to a company or corporation that would replace you in an instant. Responsibility to family members who try and keep you caged vs encouraging you to follow your dreams and live the life you desire, regardless of how much it hurts them. Responsibility to a system that engrains in women the path of success and how this “should” look. 

I am here to say to you ladies, the only person you are responsible for is yourself. Even if you have children, the number one person you should be answering too is that goddess inside you. Because she knows what’s up. She sees your potential and she is pushing you towards it. 

So those murmurings, those whispers, don’t ignore them. Don’t bury them. Because all you are doing is telling yourself you are not good enough to want what you want. And that is bullshit. 

So the next time you think about leaving your job, and you come up with a million reasons why you can’t. Reframe it, and come up with some reasons why you can. You may be surprised at what you uncover. The mind is a powerful thing. Once we break our original patterns of thinking, there is no limit to what is possible!
